LOSI MINI JRX2 1/16 2S 2WD BRUSHED BUGGY RTR
OLD-SCHOOL LOSI HERITAGE, SCALED DOWN WITHOUT LOSING THE CHARACTER.
The Losi Mini JRX2 1/16 2S 2WD Brushed Buggy RTR recreates one of the most important early Losi race buggies in a compact, fully assembled package. Its rear-motor layout, distinctive five-link rear suspension, flat fiberglass chassis and period-correct tire combination preserve the handling personality and appearance of the original JRX2 while modern Spektrum electronics make it simple to run today.
This is both a working RC buggy and a nostalgia piece. It includes the vehicle battery, USB charger, transmitter and AA batteries, so no additional running equipment is required.

A TRIBUTE TO THE ORIGINAL JRX2
The full-size JRX2 helped establish Losi as a competition manufacturer. The Mini JRX2 keeps the recognizable narrow body, tall rear wing, rear-mounted motor and vintage graphics instead of turning the name into a generic modern buggy. Three trim schemes echo the original box-art era and give collectors a clear visual choice.
The small changes made for durability and modern electronics do not erase the model's purpose: this buggy is designed to feel deliberately retro, with the weight and traction concentrated toward the rear.

REAR-MOTOR 2WD DRIVETRAIN
A Losi Jr's Choice 42-turn 280-size brushed motor sits behind the rear axle area, matching the architecture of the original car. Rearward mass helps load the driven tires when accelerating on loose surfaces. Power passes through a bevel-gear differential and a full set of ball bearings for smoother, more efficient operation.
The factory 17-tooth pinion and 0.5 MOD gearing provide a practical balance of acceleration and speed for a 1/16 buggy. The 2-in-1 Spektrum ESC/receiver handles forward, brake and reverse while reducing wiring and component count.

FIVE-LINK REAR SUSPENSION
The signature five-link rear suspension is more than decorative nostalgia. It allows the rear assembly to move while maintaining traction over rough and loose surfaces. Up front, independent suspension and ribbed tires provide direct steering response. Four-row step-pin rear tires generate forward bite and complete the era-correct look.
Oil-filled 7 mm bore aluminum shocks control suspension movement. Their aluminum construction adds durability and a premium mechanical detail that fits the model's collector appeal.

2MM FIBERGLASS PLATE CHASSIS
The flat 2 mm fiberglass chassis visually mirrors the construction of the original JRX2 and provides controlled flex rather than absolute rigidity. That flexibility is part of the buggy's easy-driving character. The chassis also keeps the main electronics and battery low for stable cornering.

COMPLETE 2S RTR PACKAGE
The included Dynamite 7.4V 650mAh 2S 20C hardcase LiPo connects through EC2 and provides approximately 10+ minutes of runtime under typical conditions. A 0.5A USB 2S charger is included. Runtime changes with gearing, surface, battery condition and driving style.
The compact Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz radio offers interference-resistant control. Four AA batteries are supplied, which makes this a true one-box RTR purchase.

GASHEAD RC SETUP NOTES
- Keep this model dry; the official specification does not rate it as water-resistant.
- Run on packed dirt, smooth pavement or an appropriately scaled track. Deep grass overloads a small brushed power system.
- Check the rear suspension links, wheel hardware and gear mesh periodically.
- Charge the LiPo on a nonflammable surface and never unattended.
- Use a soft brush after dirt runs; avoid high-pressure air directly against bearings.
GASHEAD RC VERDICT: The Mini JRX2 is the rare RTR that works as a genuine piece of Losi history and as a compact, mechanically interesting buggy you can still drive.
